Lookin’ at U – Steve Brown

This week, we feature Steve Brown, budget analyst in UNMC Business and Finance.

Here, in his own words, are five fun facts about Steve:

• My beautiful wife, Pam, to whom I have been married for 37 years, was a three-term senator in the Nebraska Legislature.

• My son, Paul, introduced me to the English Premier Soccer League. We both follow the north London team — Arsenal.

• All of my immediate family graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and we’re all big Cornhusker fans.

• I have worked at the medical center since October 1982 — the entire time in the budget office. I love the people I work with and enjoy the challenges of the position.

• I’m a true sports fanatic. It has been said there hasn’t been a game I wouldn’t attend.
