We’re so close.

As of Thursday afternoon, UNMC had raised $139,515, which is 97 percent of our donation goal of $143,094.

And considering we’re only at 31 percent participation overall, it stands to reason we could easily reach our goal by the end of today.

“If all who haven’t partipated yet donated just $2 to the drive, we’d make our goal easily,” said Kacie Gerard, manager of the UNMC United Way campaign.

If you participate by 5 p.m. today, you will be eligible to win prizes in the drive’s final prize drawing.

Prizes include tickets to the Nov. 13 Nebraska-Kansas football game as well as gift cards to several local businesses.
