Indian food to be served at Thursday cultural presentation – DATE CORRECTED

Flavors Indian restaurant will provide food for a limited number of attendees at Thursday’s campus presentation on Indian culture.

Date corrected

The presentation will be held on Thursday at noon in the Durham Research Center Auditorium, not Friday as originally reported in UNMC Today.

The presentation will feature Chandra Are, M.D., assistant professor of surgical oncology, his wife, Madhuri Are, M.D., assistant professor of surgical oncology; and Shireen Rajaram, Ph.D., director of the Center for Reducing Health Disparities.

They will discuss components of Indian culture during an 11:30 a.m. presentation in the Durham Research Center Auditorium.

The presentation is part of the UNMC 2010-2011 Diversity and Cultural Arts Series.
