Spirit Week 2010 – Pots sweeten, deadline extended for Spirit Challenge

The stakes have risen for Friday’s Spirit Challenge and the Spirit Week Photo Contest.

The first place team now gets:

A $200 gift card purchased by BlueCross and BlueShield of Nebraska to a business of the winner’s choosing; and
A $30 pizza gift card.

Pin and win!

Be spotted wearing your UNMC lapel pin today and you could win a free T-shirt.

Second-place wins:

A gift package from Midtown Crossing — worth more than $125 — that includes ice scrapers, coffee mugs and gift cards to Midtown Crossing businesses.

The deadline to register for the Spirit Challenge has been extended to Friday at 10 a.m. Only 10 teams will be eligible to participate so Register now!

Friday’s festivities start at noon in the Sorrell Center Truhlsen Campus Events Center. Cool door prizes from several local vendors will be available.

Photography awards

Also, the winner of the Spirit Week Photo Contest gets two tickets to next season’s Nebraska-Northwestern football game and a free UNMC T-shirt.

The second-place winner gets $20 gift card to Goldberg’s II (5008 Dodge St.) and a free T-shirt.
