Spirit Week 2010 — Deadline extended for photo contest submissions

You now have through Tuesday to submit photos to the Spirit Week Photo Contest and you can vote on your favorite photos until noon on Dec. 17

One campus photographer caught Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D., trying on a hoodie during Wednesday’s Spirit Week activities in the Sorrell Center. Shoot a photo that you think best reflects life at UNMC or that shows what makes UNMC vital, then enter it in the Spirit Week photo contest.

To participate, send photos that depict “Life at UNMC” or “What makes UNMC vital” to spiritweek@unmc.edu.

All UNMC employees and students are eligible to participate.
Photos will be posted to UNMC’s Facebook page. We reserve the right not to post photos that are inappropriate, don’t reflect vision or impact patient confidentiality.
Vote for your favorite photos. The three with the most “likes” win a prize.
Each entry should include contact info, as well as photo captions if desired.
Winners will be announced in UNMC Today on Dec. 20.

The photo contest winner gets two tickets to next season’s Nebraska-Northwestern football game and a free UNMC T-shirt.

The second-place winner gets $20 gift card to Goldberg’s II (5008 Dodge St.) and a free T-shirt.
