Burke Ensemble to perform at Thursday’s Music as Medicine

The Burke Ensemble — an auditioned group drawn from grades 9-12 at Burke High School — will perform at Thursday’s Music as Medicine concert at noon in the Durham Outpatient Center West Atrium.

Sponsors

The concert is sponsored by UNMC’s School of Allied Health Professionals in support with UNMC’s Center for Continuing Education and the UNMC Human Resources Department.

The group is directed by Merlin Lempke and sings styles of music from classical to Broadway and jazz.

Thursday’s show will be holiday themed.

All are invited to bring lunch and enjoy the concert.
