No snow days for UNMC employees

A parking note

On snowy days, it is not acceptable to park in the patient/visitor parking areas. Employees should continue to park in their designated parking lot.

Because of the nature of work conducted at UNMC and its hospital partner, The Nebraska Medical Center, the campus does not close as University of Nebraska campuses may during extreme weather.

As such, according to the UNMC Work Schedules Policy, employees who miss work because of weather must use vacation or floating holiday time to account for these absences.
