UNMC’s College of Nursing, as well as UNMC students of the Nebraska State Student Nurse Association in Omaha and Lincoln, will host a career fair and open house Saturday, March 1 for anyone interested in a nursing career or who would like to advance their nursing degree.
The career fair and open house will be in the ballroom of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Student Union,14th & R streetts in Lincoln. The events run from 1 to 3 p.m.
Information will be available on bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees in nursing, as well as distance education options.
The career fair will enable students to explore jobs from employers across the nation, as well as learn about tuition reimbursement, loan repayment and internships. Booths are still available for any hospital or health care agency who would like to exhibit.
“Our nursing students and graduates are highly recruited across the nation,” said Dani Eveloff, recruitment coordinator for the UNMC College of Nursing. “The opportunities are almost unlimited because of the nursing shortage. ”
