The Nebraska Medical Center’s 2011 transplant reunion drew 279 patients, and more than 900 patients, family members and volunteers; more than any year before.

The 2012 Cattlemen’s Ball will be held June 1 and 2 near McCool Junction, hosted by the Allen and Shelly Clark Family. A schedule of events will be released in December on the Cattlemen’s Ball website. Tickets also will go on sale at that time.

Irene Suh, doctoral student in occupational health, College of Public Health, received a $7,500 NASA Nebraska Space Grant Fellowship, her second in as many years, to support her dissertation work. She studies ways to reduce the impact of environmental distractions on surgeons while they perform robotic surgery.
