Today is the final day of the 2011 UNMC United Way Drive.
As of 3:33 p.m. on Thursday, $138,816 had been raised and participation was at 38 percent for the UNMC 2011 United Way pledge drive.
That means a big push is needed today to help us meet our goal to raise $145,000.
It’s been done before
“We’ve covered this kind of ground on the final day before,” said Kacie Gerard, manager of the drive. “Participate and help us make that final surge toward our goal!”
For added incentive, those who participate today will be eligible to win prizes in the final prize drawing of the drive.
Prizes include gift cards to several local business and tickets to the Nov. 5 Nebraska-Northwestern football game.
