Dr. Grant named to assistant dean post

Wendy Grant, M.D., has been named assistant dean for student affairs in the College of Medicine.

“We are very pleased and excited that Dr. Grant has agreed to become a member of our office staff,” said Jeff Hill, M.D., associate dean for admissions and student affairs. “She will be a great asset to our students and our faculty.”

In her new role, Dr. Grant will counsel students on career choice, monitor student progress and assist with the composition of the MPSE (Medical Student Performance Evaluation) for senior students, among other duties.

She will work in conjunction with Dr. Hill and Jeffrey Harrison, M.D., assistant dean for admissions and student affairs.

Dr. Grant joined the faculty of the College of Medicine in 2002 and has been active in student education since. She received her M.D. from the University of North Carolina in 1994.
