The pilot phase of the One Chart electronic health record system successfully launched on Tuesday at the UNMC Physicians Brentwood Clinic.
The technical team completed the switch process Monday evening and clinic staff used the new system as they welcomed patients on Tuesday morning.
On day one, the system functioned as expected and no issues arose that prevented patient care, One Chart officials said.
The Brentwood Village Clinic pilot project will allow for evaluation that will lead to improvements before One Chart rolls out of other UNMC Physicians and Clarkson Family Medicine clinics on May 1 and at The Nebraska Medical Center in August.
