Joslyn art talk Oct. 16

On Oct. 16, UNMC employees are invited to join Karin Campbell, Joslyn’s Phil Willson Curator of Contemporary Art, for an illustrated talk on Under Pressure: Contemporary Prints from the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation.

“Under Pressure” presents selections from the largest collection of contemporary prints in the United States and charts an array of artistic and social concerns, from minimalism to pop and conceptual art, and more recent works addressing race, gender and identity.

When: Noon on Tuesday, Oct. 16

Where: Sorrell Center, Room 1005 (first floor, next to the Events Center). Employees are encouraged to bring their lunch.

The exhibition is on view at Joslyn Art Museum through Jan. 6, 2013.
