More than 200 alumni and guests will gather in Lincoln Oct. 9-10 for the UNMC College of Dentistry Alumni Reunion Weekend.
The weekend will bring together graduates from across generations to reconnect with classmates, celebrate alumni award recipients, honor milestone reunion classes, and learn about the latest developments at the UNMC College of Dentistry. All graduates are invited, with special recognition planned for alumni whose class years end in 1 or 6.
The campus community also is invited to join alumni and friends during the Friday evening reception, which will recognize the college’s 2026 award recipients and honor classes. Weekend activities will include:
- Learning about new initiatives and future priorities at the UNMC College of Dentistry.
- Meeting current students and touring the college.
- Attending a continuing education session presented by a UNMC College of Dentistry legacy family.
- Networking with fellow alumni and friends during the Friday evening reception and the tailgate party prior to the Indiana at Nebraska football game.
- Celebrating the Class of 1976 and the 2026 alumni award recipients.
A special highlight of the weekend will be the induction of the Class of 1976 into the Half Century Club. Members of the class, including dentists and dental hygienists, will be recognized as they celebrate 50 years since graduation.
