Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.

I work for the Physician Assistant Program here at UNMC.

Being a trusted resource is one of UNMC’s brand values. Tell us of a time you witnessed a person or group act as a trusted resource at UNMC.

I see this every single day in the PA Program. Our faculty, staff, and students prove that UNMC is a trusted resource as they strive for and achieve excellence in education and primary care. Our program does not settle for anything less and when our students graduate, they are more than qualified to provide only the best patient care.

What is your favorite Winter activity?

This is a tough one because I am not a huge fan of Winter, or being cold at all. However, if I must choose, it would be sledding. Who doesn’t love sledding?

List three things people may not know about you.

  • My grandmother had 16 children. Most all of this enormous family still lives in Omaha.
  • Even though I am a pale Irish girl, I love to be out in the sun jogging, swimming or boating.
  • I could literally eat Twizzlers with every meal.

Geri is often "first face" people see of the PA Program and she serves all those she meets with a flare. Didn't know about Twizzlers, so thanks for this reveal. We'll have to check into that.

Yes, Geri, Twizzlers are the best! I gotta get you out to the skating rink one of these days. It'll change your mind about winter. 🙂 Oh, and ditto to everyone else. It's great to have you in the school.
