All clear given in University Tower evacuation
4:40 p.m. — The Omaha Fire Department has given the “all clear.” Air quality has been tested and is safe. Patients have been moved back. The cause of the fire is being investigated. A company has been contracted to remediate any smoke damage.

Remembering … Richard Bailey
Memorial services will be held today for Richard Bailey, a carpenter at UNMC from 1973 to 2007. Bailey died in his Council Bluffs, Iowa, home on Tuesday.
