On the road with Dental Day VI
For the first time students, faculty and staff from the UNMC College of Dentistry traveled 400 miles to bring their free dental clinic to children in western Nebraska. The college also tested its tele-dentistry project during Dental Day VI.

UNMC hosting international summit on pediatric soft tissue sarcomas
Carrie Lamm had never heard of rhabdomyosarcoma, nor did she know cancer in the muscle was possible. Then, her 3 -year-old daughter was diagnosed with it. Today, through Saturday, UNMC is hosting the Children’s Oncology Group International Summit on the Biology and Treatment of the Pediatric Soft Tissue Sarcomas.

Dr. McVea among YWCA’s 2004 Women of Vision
