Research focus:

  • Rheumatoid arthritis (RA)

The goal of my research is to: improve the long-term outcomes for patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

My research will make a difference because: of our comprehensive focus on how rheumatoid arthritis, a systemic disease, is affecting patients’ well-being. We investigate how patients with RA may develop other chronic conditions, how these other conditions may impact their lifespan and treatment and then target some of the most devastating conditions that may affect patients with RA, such as RA-associated lung diseases.

The best advice I’ve ever been given is:

Begin with the end in mind.

Three things you may not know about me are:

  • I enjoy staying active, running and making trips to hike in the mountains.
  • I consider “The Office” to be the greatest TV show of all time.
  • I have three young kids, and watching them grow up is just the best.
