This presentation sponsored by the Olson Center for Women’s Health has been rescheduled for May 12.

Matthew Stephany, MD, will present on “Daily skin care: What’s your routine?” during the next Olson Center for Women’s Health Brown Bag Series. Dr. Stephany is the medical director for general dermatology and an assistant professor in the UNMC Department of Dermatology.

The online presentation will be Tuesday, March 15, from noon to 1 p.m.

What’s your daily skin care routine? It’s a simple question, but everyone has different considerations and goals. Some want to focus on reduction of fine lines, others sun protection or dry skin. This lecture will identify different characteristics of topical products and discuss how they contribute to overall skin health based on needs and preferences. There is emerging evidence in treatment strategies that can change skin care routines.

Though the lecture is free, cost for nursing credit is $10. Nursing credit is earned by watching the livestream of the virtual presentation. Nurses should claim credit only for the actual time spent participating in this activity.

UNMC designates the live activity for 1.0 ANCC contact hour. UNMC is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the health care team.
