Pharmacy grads excel on licensing exam

For the fourth consecutive year, the College of Pharmacy graduating class had a 100 percent pass rate on the national pharmacy licensing examination.

All 65 of UNMC’s graduating pharmacy students passed North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination (NAPLEX) on their first attempts. The national pass rate for all colleges of pharmacy was 96.68 percent.

UNMC students had an average score of 107.03. The national average score was 103.52.

“The entire College of Pharmacy family shares in this achievement,” said Dean Courtney Fletcher, Pharm.D. “It reflects the commitment and expertise of the College of Pharmacy faculty. And it is a result of the outstanding students who come to study pharmacy at UNMC.”

I'm sure I speak for other members of the Board of Regents when I say how proud we are of these terrific results. Keep up the good work – everyone takes pride in these kinds of achievements.
