Today is the final day for UNMC employees, faculty and staff to receive a $10 discount for membership at the gardens.

Membership to Lauritzen Gardens includes:
- Free admission year-round to a 100-acre site that includes 13 different garden areas, plus free or discounted admission to the indoor seasonal floral displays, annual festivals and most special events;
- A 10 percent discount on regularly priced items in the gift shop;
- Discounts to exciting educational workshops, classes and programs for both children and adults;

Employees and students of UNMC receive reduced pricing on select membership levels at Fontenelle Forest from June 1 through June 30.
Prices:
- Individual $30 (a saving of $5): Admits one adult for an entire year;
- Two Individuals $40 (a saving of $5): Admits two adults living in the same household for an entire year; and
- Household $50 (a saving of $5): Admits two adults living in the same household and grandchildren or dependent children under 18 for an entire year
Membership is tax-deductible.
