2013 Participants Night includes a T. Rex named Sue

UNMC and The Nebraska Medical Center employees and their families are invited to The Durham Museum’s 2013 Participant’s Night.

Join the museum for a night of prehistoric fun. Enjoy dinner, family-friendly activities and the latest exhibition, a Tyrannosaurus Rex named Sue on loan from Chicago’s Field Museum.

Activities include the Excavation Station, sponsored locally by Thrasher Basement, and UNO paleontologist George Engelmann, Ph.D., who will be on hand with fossils, bones and other artifacts for all ages to enjoy.

The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. July 29 as part of the Time Travelers program, a partnership between UNMC, The Nebraska Medical Center and the museum at 801 S. 10th St.

Free admission is for immediate family only (including two adults and dependent children from the same household under 21 years of age). Any additional family members that attend will be required to pay regular museum admission.

An employee identification badge must be presented for admittance.

Please RSVP.
