Second library finalist to hold public forum Thursday

Ruth Riley, a finalist for the position of director of the McGoogan Library of Medicine, will speak to faculty, staff and students from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.

Riley has a degree in sociology from the University of Kansas and an M.S. in library and information science from the University of Illinois. Riley has held positions at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, the Alfred Taubman Medical Library of the University of Michigan and the J. Otto Lottes Health Sciences Library of the University of Missouri.

She is completing a two-day visit to campus, the second of four finalists who will visit UNMC. Future scheduled visits include:
