Fourth library finalist to hold public forum Friday

Stewart Brower, a finalist for the position of director of the McGoogan Library of Medicine, will speak to faculty, staff and students from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, in the Wittson Hall Amphitheater (Room 3034).

Brower is the director of the Schusterman Library at Oklahoma University-Tulsa.

Brower holds a B.A. in English from Oklahoma State University and a master’s in library information systems from the University of Oklahoma. He has worked in libraries at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York; the Bernard Becker Medical Library of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis; and the Robert M. Bird Health Sciences Library at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center.

He is completing a two-day visit to campus, the last of four finalists who will visit UNMC.
