Video: The HEROES mobile unit – 2013 revisited

The Healthcare and Emergency Responder Organization Education through Simulation (HEROES) Project is a UNMC effort to create disaster preparedness training videos that quickly and concisely explain how to perform necessary tasks.

In 2013, the HEROES mobile simulation unit traveled more than 5,500 miles throughout Nebraska, providing emergency response preparedness education to more than 950 health care professionals and students.

“It was a busy year. Working throughout the state with both students and health care providers allows for good sharing and discussion,” said Beth Beam, project coordinator.
