Join LiveGreen as we kick off the 5th anniversary of Earth Week on campus.
The campus will be celebrating Arbor Day, and UNMC’s designation as a Tree Campus USA by the Arbor Day Foundation for the second straight year. A tree will be planted in front of the Durham Research Center at 10:30 a.m. today.
LiveGreen volunteers also will be giving out free Serviceberry trees on a first-come, first-served basis, as well as other freebies. Bring your gently used eyeglasses to this event. Volunteers will collect them and take then to the ophthalmology department to distribute to patients at their monthly free clinics.
