The Durham Outpatient Center (DOC) circle drive and a section of Emile Street west to 45th Street will be closed Sunday, May 31, as construction work continues near the area. An additional Sunday is required to complete skywalk structural fabrication.
The work that requires the closure may not take all day, and construction teams will re-open the drive and the street as soon as possible. During the closure, the Lot 2 parking structure adjacent to the DOC will only be accessible from the west side, from the 45th St. entrance.
Lot 50, on the south side of Emile Street, will be available for patient and visitor parking during the circle drive closure.
This work is being done on a Sunday to minimize the impact to patients, visitors and staff during busier weekday times.
