In July UNMC's EngAge Wellness program raised $6,097 and had 100 unique donors in the Give65: Hope for Seniors Fundraiser, an online fundraiser. Because they were at the top of the Tier's Leaderboard for both total dollars raised and unique number of donors to participate, they not only received $2,500 matching funds but won one of the $10,000 prize awards!

The support will be used to subsidize evidence-based wellness classes for older adults unable to afford the cost of the classes but who may benefit from classes designed to help reduce their risk of falls, help control/prevent chronic conditions and/or contribute to their overall health.
