Nominations for Student Impact Award now open

The Student Senate Academic Committee is introducing the Student Senate Student Impact Award to recognize students who have made a significant impact on the UNMC campus as well as the community at large. Nominations for the award open today.

Each year, six students will be honored with awards going to one student in each of these colleges – College of Medicine, College of Allied Health Professions, College of Pharmacy, Graduate College, College of Nursing and College of Public Health. (The College of Dentistry is represented on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Student Senate.)

Winners will receive a plaque at a special public reception later in the spring semester.

Applications are to be submitted by 11:59 p.m. CST Dec. 1.
