UNMC’s Information Technology Services Department and Nebraska Medicine’s Department of Enterprise Technology Services were combined Jan. 1 to create an integrated Information Technology (IT) resource that will better serve the needs of the entire enterprise.
Now, they are asking the campus community to complete a brief survey about IT use at UNMC and Nebraska Medicine. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete. All responses are anonymous and will be used to measure the level of satisfaction for services provided by the IT department, as well as drive performance improvement activities.
The deadline for completing the survey is Feb. 23.
“Our vision for the new IT department is to provide technology that is a strategic asset to the enterprise. This is critical for us to deliver our shared mission statement,” said Michael Ash, M.D., executive vice president/chief transformation officer for Nebraska Medicine and vice chancellor of information and technology for UNMC. “It is our goal to provide the technology required for operations as well as drive innovation while being more efficient and collaborative across the enterprise.”
