Community Service to Research nominations open

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research has announced a call for nominations for the Community Service to Research Award.

Each year, the office honors a community member who has contributed to UNMC’s research mission and community. This might be a volunteer, a “cheerleader,” or anyone a nominator believes is deserving of recognition.

The award is given out as part of the annual award ceremony to announce the Scientist Laureate and other research award winners. The event is tentatively scheduled for sometime in March.

To nominate a person for the Community Service to Research Award, please submit the name of your nominee for consideration with the rationale on the official nomination form. Nomination forms should be sent to Linda Wilkie at campus ZIP 7878. The deadline is Jan. 24.
