John Randolph

There will be a retirement tea for John Randolph, a zone technician in the UNMC Department of Facilities Management and Planning, from 2-3 p.m. Monday, July 8, in the Maurer Commons Area on the first floor between the Durham Research Center and Durham Research Center II.

Randolph has been with UNMC for 46 years. He began his career in 1973 as a high school student working as a messenger in medical materials. He has since worked for the grounds crew/labor pool; carpenter shop; maintenance shop; and, most recently, as a facilities research zone technician.

In retirement, Randolph plans to travel and visit his family, who are spread throughout the United States.
