Tell us a bit about what you do here at UNMC.
I am extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work with a large number of remarkable people at UNMC by providing assistance with their hiring strategies and questions. HR Staffing is the first line of contact for applicants, and I greatly enjoy speaking with them about UNMC and our incredible community on campus. Additionally, I work with my team to identify and implement new strategies for hiring best practices.

Courage is one of UNMC’s iTEACH values. Tell us of a time you witnessed a person or group demonstrating courage at UNMC.
I would absolutely have to mention Alice Weyant, our compensation administrator. Alice is always working to think outside of the box on projects to try and find the best/efficient solutions and always looks for every potential outcome. She presents her suggestions without hesitation and is always open to feedback.

What is your favorite summer activity?
White water rafting in Colorado when the opportunity is available.

List three things people may not know about you.

  • I have been married to my incredible husband, Blake, for 6 years.
  • We have a spunky daughter, named Josslyn, who is 4 and we are expecting twins this November.
  • I am blind in one eye.

Kimberly is amazing!! She has helped our team multiple times, often under tight timelines and back-to-back hires. We couldn't do it without her.
    PS–Kimberly, twins?! Congratulations! 🙂
