Jamie Hansen of Alloy Solutions, a leadership development group, will speak on “Working with Resilience” at noon on Sept. 17 at the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater as part of the Olson Center for Women’s Health Brown Bag Lunch and Learn Lecture Series.

Resilience is defined as the ability to deal with day-to-day stressors and remain healthy. At the lecture, Hansen will:

  • discuss resilience as it applies to the context of the workplace;
  • identify the seven components of resilience at work; and
  • identify individual strengths and opportunities for small shifts that contribute to one’s ability to manage everyday stress, adapt to change, and proactively prepare for future challenges.

Seating is limited. Pre-register by calling the Olson Center at 402-559-6345. Attendees are invited to bring lunch, and simple refreshments will be provided.

The lectures are free. To obtain nursing credit, the cost is $10.
Payment instructions will be given at pre-registration.
