Registration open for student research forum

Registration is now open for the 2020 Midwest Student Biomedical Research Forum (MSBRF) to be held on Feb. 22 in Omaha.

Students are invited to participate in the MSBRF, which provides an opportunity for young researchers from the health sciences, graduate, intern and resident programs throughout the Midwestern region of the United States and Canada to present their work in the biomedical sciences.

The forum gives students the opportunity to have their work reviewed and evaluated by faculty outside their own institution.

MSBRF provides the option of presenting research in either an oral or poster format, allowing students to present their research in their preferred format. Each abstract submitted to MSBRF is subject to the same type of peer review applied to the selection of manuscripts for publication in major scientific journals.

Abstract submission information is available on the website. This includes guidelines for abstract submission, registration information and more detailed information about the forum. The deadline for abstract submission is Dec. 13.

Participants are responsible for their own lodging and transportation costs and arrangements. Meals that are included in the registration price are the continental breakfast, lunch and the awards banquet dinner on Saturday for the presenter. Additional tickets are available for purchase for guests.
