IT to hold weekly sessions on academic technologies

Throughout the spring 2020 semester, the UNMC Department of IT Academic Technologies will be offering weekly one-hour sessions for faculty, staff and students to drop in to discuss all things Canvas, Echo 360, Zoom, VidGrid, PollEverywhere or Turnitin.

All sessions will be in Sorrell Center in the second floor commons area. Look for the “Information Technology” sign.

Events include:

  • Canvas: Jan. 9, 9-10 a.m.
  • Zoom: Jan. 16, 11 a.m.-noon.
  • Echo 360 ALP: Jan. 23, 9-10 a.m.
  • Canvas: Jan. 30, 2-3 p.m.
  • VidGrid: Feb. 6, 9-10 a.m.
  • Turnitin: Feb. 13, 2-3 p.m.
  • Canvas: Feb. 20, 2-3 p.m.
  • Echo 360 ALP: Feb. 27, 9-10 a.m.
  • Poll Everywhere: March 5, 9-10 a.m.
  • VidGrid: March 12, 11 a.m.-noon.
  • Turnitin: March 19, 9-10 p.m.
  • Echo 360 ALP: March 26, 9-10 a.m.
  • Zoom: April 2, 11 a.m.-noon.
  • Canvas: April 9, 2-3 p.m.
  • Poll Everywhere: April 16, 2-3 p.m.
  • Canvas: April 23, 9-10 a.m.
  • End of Semester/Setting up your course for fall: Canvas: April 30, 2-3 p.m.
