Arbor Family Counseling creates video to aid wellness

Arbor Family Counseling, which provides counseling assistance to UNMC employees through the Employee Assistance Program, has created a video on how to deal with the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and embrace “the new normal” through connection, commitment and community. The video includes tips on stress relief, focusing on the positive, dealing with anxiety and sadness and other helpful suggestions.

“This is a stressful time for all of us,” said Jayme Nekuda, associated director of human resources at UNMC. “We hope this video is another tool that can help the members of our UNMC community as we work on the front lines of the COVID-19 crisis, or work to support those who do.”
