Nebraska Medicine psychologist Cecilia Poon, PhD, will discuss how to enhance older adults’ holiday experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic at the next Olson Center Brown Bag, to be held virtually on Nov. 17 from noon-1 p.m.

In her lecture, Dr. Poon will highlight the scope of the problem, summarize existing interventions to combat loneliness among older adults during the pandemic and identify tips and strategies for individuals, health care providers and communities to safely support older family members, friends and care recipients’ diverse social and emotional needs during the holiday season.

Pre-register by emailing Lana Molczyk, calling the Olson Center at 402-559-6345, or on Engage. Viewing directions will be given to registrants prior to the brown bag presentation.
