UNO offers series on ethics in medicine

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) has announced The Ethics of Medicine Speaker Series, featuring prominent national experts in the ethics of medicine discussing issues of contemporary importance.

The series was created by Robert Steel, PhD, assistant professor of philosophy and member of the medical humanities faculty at UNO. He also will moderate each session. In assembling this group of scholars to share cutting-edge research on pressing, contemporary ethical issues in and around the practice of medicine, Dr. Steel aims to contribute to establishing UNO as both a center for scholarship in the medical humanities as well as a trusted voice on matters of public concern in the community.

All talks will be delivered virtually on the last Thursday of the month from January through April at 7 p.m. The talks are free to the public, but registration is required.
