De-Stress Week committee seeks art submissions

The UNMC De-Stress Week Committee is seeking original art submissions from the UNMC community for this semester’s De-Stress Week.

“We are specifically looking for artwork that displays an activity or way our students, faculty and staff de-stress,” said Channing Bunch, director of student life inclusion and diversity. “This project is a great way for us to learn more about one another and also showcase the many artistically talented individuals we have on campus.”

The De-Stress Week Committee will provide a small art kit that will include a 5″x7″ canvas and paint supplies for those interested. Kits are limited and will be first come, first served. Faculty, staff and students who are interested in receiving a kit should email Kelsey Scroggin by April 12.

Individuals who receive a kit will be asked to take a photo of their artwork to be showcased on social media during De-Stress Week. Photos should be submitted to Scroggin by April 24.

A gift of appreciation will be provided to those who submit their artwork. Questions can be directed to Scroggin.
