Post-partum pelvic health focus of presentation

Shannon Roth, DPT, a specialist in pelvic health at Nebraska Medicine Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, will speak on “Women’s Health Physical Therapy in the Postpartum Period: More Than Just Kegels” at the next Olson Center Brown Bag, to be held from noon-1 p.m. on May 18.

Pregnancy causes many changes in a woman’s body, and the pelvic floor musculature can experience uncomfortable symptoms and conditions. During her presentation, Dr. Roth will explain the role of a pelvic health/women’s health physical therapist in treating these issues in the postpartum period.

This lecture is free. However, the cost is $10 to obtain nursing credit. Payment instructions will be given at pre-registration. Nursing credit can only be obtained for watching the livestream of the virtual presentation, not for viewing the recording after the event.
