The UNMC community is invited to attend the Aug. 16 all-campus forum with UNMC Chancellor Jeffrey P. Gold, MD. The forum will be online only.
Attendees may view the forum from 3 to 4 p.m. via Zoom. There will not be an option to attend in person this month.
Dr. Gold will be joined by Jane Meza, PhD, interim executive director for health security for UNMC and the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and Mark Rupp, MD, medical director of infection control and epidemiology at Nebraska Medicine and chief of the UNMC Division of Infectious Diseases. They will discuss a variety of campus issues for the fall semester, including:
- the potential impact of the Delta variant on campus;
- guidance on masking, vaccine documentation and other campus safety measures;
- diversity, equity and inclusion efforts; and
- other topics.
An American Sign Language interpreter will take part in the event.
