With 596,457 steps logged for November, Greg McFadden of the Health Professions Tracking Center took home the Gold Shoe award for the month.

When asked how he racked up more than half a million steps in a month, McFadden said, “I run a lot.”

The marathon runner said he puts in an average of about 10 miles a day.

The current Silver Shoe owner Julie Carstens gets to hold on to the shoe for another month after logging 435,738 steps in November.

Congratulations to the winners and all others who participated in this month’s competition.
