Jane Meza, Ph.D., associate professor of biostatistics in the College of Public Health (COPH), will present the seminar at noon in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater.
The COPH is launching the Center for Collaboration on Research Design and Analysis (CCORDA) to help meet the increased demands due to the continued growth and expansion of UNMC’s clinical, translational and public health research and education.
The CCORDA will coordinate and expand services provided by faculty and staff in the COPH with expertise in clinical research ethics, study design, study conduct, data monitoring, data management, surveillance, analysis, geospatial analysis and dissemination of results.
Dr. Meza, CCORDA director, and Lynette Smith, associate director, will coordinate the collaborative services, making such resources more easily accessible to investigators.
Dr. Meza’s presentation is part of an ongoing series of clinical and translational research seminars held on the third Monday of each month.
The series is aimed at bringing clinical and basic science investigators from across the university together to identify new ways to collaborate and answer important clinical questions.
All of the seminars will be videotaped and available for investigators who cannot attend. The seminars also are televised at the following sites:

- College of Nursing in Scottsbluff, Panhandle Station Room 203;
