UNMC’s research was on display at the fourth annual Nebraska Research and Innovation Conference, hosted by EPSCoR (Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research), on Oct. 28.

Nearly 300 researchers, students, government representatives and biotechnology business owners attended the conference in Lincoln.

“The EPSCoR conference presented a perfect opportunity to showcase UNMC’s collaborations and developments in biomedical research,” said Marsha Morien, administrative director of Computer Assisted Medicine and Surgery.

Surgical robotic devices under development in the Center for Advanced Surgical Technology at UNMC were part of the display.
