Santa’s Preview, a holiday boutique featuring special gift items and merchandise sponsored by the Clarkson Service League, is scheduled for Nov. 11 through Nov. 13.
It will be held at The Nebraska Medical Center, Clarkson Tower lower Storz Pavilion.
The three-day event is titled “Home for the Holidays” and kicks off on Nov. 11 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a wine and cheese reception. Shopping on Nov. 12 goes from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and also includes a luncheon featuring a fashion show and raffle. The boutique is open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 13.
Proceeds from the event benefit cancer care at The Nebraska Medical Center and the development of the acute-in-patient rehabilitation therapy center.
This year’s event honors Jan Falk, a longtime community volunteer and supporter. Falk has served on the Clarkson Service League Board for many years, was the first Santa’s Preview chairwoman and also has served as Clarkson Gift Shop chairwoman, president of the Clarkson Service League and Fashion Show Production chairwoman.
Co-chairwomen for this year’s Santa’s Preview are Kim Banat and Anne Jetter. President of the Clarkson Service League is Sally Stalnaker. Clarkson Gift Shop chairwomen are Ann Blunk and Kara Bachman; vice chairwomen are Marianne Holland and Lynn Holdenried. Jewelry buyers are Patty Landen and Mary Kay Davis.
