Abstracts sought for International Student Research Forum

Students from all colleges and departments are asked to submit abstracts to participate in the 2010 International Student Research Forum, which will be held Sept. 25-29 in Beijing.

The annual forum — which was in Queensland, Australia last year — allows students to share their research and culture with peers from around the world.

“This event is a special opportunity for UNMC students to meet with international peers, discuss their research and build relationships that could foster research collaboration in the future,” said Tara Nordgren — a fourth-year student in the genetics, cell biology and anatomy department who attended last year’s forum and will help organize the UNMC delegation for the forum.
