The loss left NU our panelists, Jeffrey Hill, M.D., Lisa Runco and Chad Kelsay and Kyle Ringenberg, M.D., with 5-1 records on the season.

This week, Nebraska travels to Oklahoma State to take on the undefeated and No. 17 Cowboys.

Let’s hear from our panel about Nebraska and Oklahoma State.

Dr. Hill says, “Okie State could be dangerous. The Huskers play well on the road and the OSU defense is not as stout as Texas. We should rebound but the receivers need to step up.” NU 31, Oklahoma State 21

Team Runco/Kelsay says, “This is a tough one to pick. OSU’s defense is their weakness, so hopefully we will be able to move the ball on them. It will be interesting to see how backup quarterback Zac Lee is worked into the mix this week. Defensively we have our work cut out for us. OSU has a fantastic offense. It may be a close one, but our road strength is proven and we should be confident.” NU 24, Oklahoma State 20

Dr. Ringenberg says, “OSU is for real — well at least on offense. I’m still not 100 percent sold on their passing offense, as they have yet to play anyone with a decent secondary. They do have one of the top running backs in the country in Kendall Hunter and I expect he will get a lot of carries. The good news is that OSU’s defense has not really stopped anyone. Ultimately, I don’t think they’ll be able to match us physically.” NU 34, Oklahoma State 27
