Volunteers who stories are told in the new book, “Help and Hope for Haiti,” will recount stories from their work in Haiti and sign book at two upcoming events in Omaha.
Employees, faculty and staff have two opportunities to hear compelling stories about innovation, resilience and inspiration from the UNMC health care volunteers who provided relief in Haiti.

Their stories and photos are featured in a new book, “Help and Hope for Haiti.”

The book is a documentary-style look at the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti and the efforts by medical center employees to provide acute care and assist with a rebuilding strategy.
