In spite of all the snow we’ve seen, these folks have made sure we can still get around campus.
To all of you who helped with the effort, great job keeping the parking lots and sidewalks clean! It’s much appreciated!

The Grounds crew have done an awesome job! Working in the Security Department we receive all the complaints that come in after hours. When we place a call to Tom anytime during the night he responds right away and things get done. On the nights it snows Tom usually sleeps on campus so he can take care of any problem areas that need attention. I can't thank the grounds crew enough for their promptness. Thank you from the entire security department.
Eddie and Sam have done an excellent job of taking care of the hazards and slick spots around the DRC I and II building this winter. They have a great positive attitude. We're fortunate to have them on our UNMC staff. Thanks.
I agree! We take for granted the hard work these folks put in to make sure we can get around during the winter. While we are all at home warm in our beds…they are here at 4am working to make sure everything is cleared and safe. I appreciate everything they do!
The Grounds Crew are unsung heroes of UNMC. No matter how bad the weather, the sidewalks are always cleared and salted by or before 7:00 in the morning. Thanks to them, the rest of us can get safely to work and our patients and visitors can get to their appointments. We really appreciate your hard work.

The grounds crew is always on top of things – whenever I need to go to and from campus, snow is not a factor. They have to be one of the best in all of Omaha.
The grounds keeping folks do a wonderful job with removing the snow and making sure that our sidewalks are safe. I would like to thanks them for all the extra hours they put in to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. On another note, I have always thought that they do a magnificent job in the summer. Thank you.
Walking into work the other day, I looked down at my feet and noticed all the blue salt rocks on the ground. Somebody got up early to put those there so people like me don't fall down and go ouch. Virtual hugs to those somebodies! You rock!

We have many personnel in our dept. that come in early to start surgical cases. Planes don't fly without mechanics and the University needs our snow crew to allow us to get to work safely. We applaud all the hard work you do
